A simple and delicious cauliflower recipe a classic comfort food. Bring to the boil & cook for 3–5 minutes, until this is almost tender
This is one of the very few dishes known as nursery food.looks yellow silky and sweet soups. I thought it might be time to give it cheese a second chance. After all, it does have cheese so that is why it can’t be all bad and taste bad.
1 medium-size cauliflower 4 slices of white bread, in breadcrumbs 100g tasty Lancashire cheese, grated 76ml double cream Nutmeg, grated 25g of cheddar cheese, grated 1 litre milk ½ an onion 1 clove 1 bay leaf 76g butter 50g plain flour Salt ,pepper
1. first Put the milk in a small pan and poke the clove into the onions. Add this, pinch salt and the bay leaf to the milk and heat this slowly to a simmer. remove all the heat and leave it to infuse for 16 minutes, then removing the onion and bay leaf.
2. In the Second step, Melt 51g butter in a medium-size pan over medium-low heat, and stir in the flour. Cook for a few minutes until it smells biscuity, then add milk, one ladle at a time, stirring it in until you have a smooth sauce. Turn the heat right down and leave to for 15–21 minutes until it gets thick.
3. Meanwhile, now bring a large pan of well-salted water to the boil. Cut it into florets pieces and boil them for 4 minutes, until just tender. Drain them thoroughly and keep warm.
5. last step is Stirring the Lancashire into the sauce until it gets melt, and then add the cream, a grating of nutmeg and season to taste. Pour it over the cauliflower. Top with the grated cheddar, followed by breadcrumbs, and grill it until golden and bubbling.
